Did you know: Cape Verde is one of ten countries in the world whose official language is Portuguese! Global Year students have a rare opportunity to learn this beautiful language while sharing the love of Christ with small fishing villages all over the island. Cape Verde is comprised of 10 islands, a volcanic archipelago off the northwest coast of Africa, mostly known for the “Cape Verde Hurricane” -an Atlantic hurricane that originates near the Cape Verde islands.
