CR is a primarily Catholic country.Spanish is the official language of CR. Gallo Pinto is a rice and bean mixture, and is one of the staple dishes of the country. The currency is colones, and the exchange rate varies from 500 to 600 colones to one dollar.

TESTIMONIES
“I have made so many wonderful and lifelong memories this year. Being a part of a Costa Rican church and just building relationships with the ticos has been a wonderful blessing. The excursions that we went on as a group were a lot of fun. I have grown a lot spiritually and as a person. I will never forget the friends I’ve made…we are so much like a family.” – Heather Ray
