Contact Michael:

For several years, I worked as a volunteer youth leader at my home church. In 2014, I answered Gods call to do a Global Year in South Africa. During my time there, I learned a lot and had a deeper love for Christ. Upon my return I felt Gods call to surrender to full time missions. So I decided to go on staff with Global Year, and I am now serving as a Student life Director in Honduras.

Q&A with Michael:

If you weren’t in ministry, what would you be doing?

Well I went to school for Drafting Technology and had planned on going further and getting a degree in Civil Engineering.

When did you make Jesus your Lord and Savior?

When I was 15 at a youth summer camp right outside Orlando Fl.

Other than Jesus, who has been an influential person(s) in your life?

Brian Lee. He is the Youth Pastor at my Church. Brian has taught me a lot about Gods word and pushed me to fully serve Christ. I love every moment serving alongside of him.

What is your favorite verse?

“But I do not account my life of any value nor as precious to myself, if only I may finish my course and the ministry that I received from the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God” acts 20:24

Other than Jesus, who would you most like to have lunch with?

I love hearing testimonies of other missionaries. I think it would be awesome to sit down with them and hear their stories.

What’s your secret ambition?

Well I always wanted to travel the world. I thought a great way to do that is to go on the show the Amazing Race. Being a contestant on that show would be awesome.

What favorite books, besides the Bible, are on your shelf?

Explicit Gospel, Radical, Forgotten God, Redemption, and the Narnia Series.
